2007 Museum Days, Remembering James Dean Festival

To millions of adoring fans around the world, James Dean was more than just a pretty face. He was a brilliant actor, artist and the embodiment of an entire generation of angst-ridden youth.

Every September, those same fans - the ones who leave red lipstick-clad kisses on the sunbaked headstone of his grave - converge on Fairmount, Ind. and attend the James Dean Festival.
